Our annual Parent-Teacher meetings take place over these 2 days. Time allocated by
DES is 2 1/2 hours but this year we again use our Croke Park hours to add 3 1/2 hours
to total of 6 hours (3 -6pm each day) . That allows for a 10 min slot for each parent
in the class and allows more time to discuss each childs progress at school under a
number of areas. Timeslots to be decided in the weeks after mid-term break and
each parent will be given a choice of day/time and teachers will do their best to
accomodate.
Bishop Kieran O’Reilly will visit the school for an hour on this day. He will chat to our
6th class boys who will make confirmation this year and will attend our annual
November Remembrance service in the school hall.
This year we will return once again to Sandymount day care unit(Hospital) for our annual
Carol Singing event. This is a highlight of the year for our 6th Class boys and they are
practicing once again under the guidance of Majella Killeen and class teacher- Michael
Carroll. Thanks to Sandymount once again for the kind invitation and welcome that
we always get!
School closes at 12.30pm for all boys
Lunchtime dodgeball league for all boys in 3rd,4th,5th,6th.
Altogether 124 boys in 12 teams playing the best sport on this earth!
